Cameron Belyea is a partner specialising in contested debt and capital restructuring, banking & finance recoveries and litigation, complex insolvencies, commercial litigation (especially takeovers, contested corporate, shareholder/oppression disputes and contested shareholder and director meetings), a tax controversy disputes.

Cameron's recent public profile assignments include the ongoing or completed recapitalisations of Albidon Nickel, Australian Zircon Group, Monarch Group, Monto Minerals, Western Kingfish and similar assignments, work in the Rewards Group/Ark, Great Southern and Timbercorp managed investment scheme administrations (and a number of confidential assignments in respect of other managed investment schemes) and ongoing representation of liquidators of various Westpoint Corporation group entities. Cameron also acts for security trustees/bondholders and distressed equity investment funds.

The above, and other confidential assignments, involved work across industries as diverse as energy and resources (examples include pipelines, electricity, nickel, gold, tantalum, mineral sands, earth moving, contracting), managed investment schemes, vineyards, timber plantations, receivable portfolios, leisure and entertainment, healthcare, hospitality and accommodation, building, biotechnology, intellectual/real/personal property and all manner of retail, agriculture and services industries.
