Background
Geoff Harley has practised in commercial law for more than 40 years and is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Queensland. He brings a practical, no-nonsense approach to his advice on workplace law issues including discrimination, employment, industrial relations, and workplace health and safety.
Geoff's experience as a member of various boards is invaluable in giving him an insight into and appreciation of management perspectives on workplace issues. His practical experience in management, having been managing partner of the Brisbane office of Clayton Utz from 1995-1998 and partner in charge from 2000 to 2006, has also given him a real understanding of the issues facing employers.
Geoff is currently Chair of TransLink Transit Authority and a director of other companies.
