Alan Maguire is Partner in Charge of the Brisbane office of Clayton Utz and a partner in the Major Projects and Banking groups. Alan's expertise lies in advising on the development and financing of major projects in the resource, infrastructure and energy sector. This has included advice on a number of public private partnerships.
Alan also advises the firm's corporate clients on all areas of finance including corporate borrowings, capital market transactions, guarantee facilities, leasing and other forms of asset finance. He is well respected in this area and has presented to financiers, corporate clients and government representatives on a broad range of topics.
Alan is also the Partner overseeing our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) which was implemented by the firm to help address the inequality that exists between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians.
